Apple memperkuat keunggulan MacBook Pro dengan Retina Display dan prosesor Intel Core generasi keempat berikut grafis terbaru, daya tahan baterei lebih lama, flash storage lebih cepat, dan Wi-Fi generasi baru.
Dibanderol mulai dari US$1.299, MacBook Pro anyar dengan Retina Display ini sudah dilengkapi display beresolusi tinggi, desain tipis dan ringan, serta teknologi baru untuk mengerjakan berbagai pekerjaan berat.
Namun, Apple tidak lagi memasarkan model 15,4 inci di lini produk terbarunya ini, sementara MacBook Pro 13,3 inci seharga US$1.199 masih memakai layar beresolusi 1.280x800 piksel, Interl Core i5 dual core 2.5GHz generasi ketiga, memori DDR3 1.600MHz 4GB, hard drive 500GB, dan chip Intel HD Graphics 4000.
Selain updating versi OS ke Mavericks, MacBook Pro masih sama seperti model tahun lalu. Produk ini bisa dikonfigurasikan dengan hard drive 1TB atau solid-state drive (SSD) 512GB, hingga memori 8GB, serta prosesor dual-core Intel Core i7 2.9GHz generasi ketiga.
